Today I am here with the most interesting topic SEO (Search Engine Optimization). We are going to discuss what actually SEO means, what is its significance, how to perform SEO, what are profits of doing SEO. Also we will learn about two different types of SEO that are  Black Hat SEO and White Hat SEO. On the go, we also learn  how SEO helps in ranking of your website on different search engines. What is the Meaning of SEO?

SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization. This is done for the visibility of one's website on the different search engines without any paid ads. This means to rank on search engine's unpaid results i.e. by gaining 'organic' traffic without any paid ads.

For example: If you have developed a new website and you posted an article on it. But you are not able to see any traffic gain. That is, no one is able to visit your website to see what articles you have posted. You have done your job right, but now the big thing is how would you share your this content to the world (i.e. on the internet). Right here, SEO works! By performing SEO, your website is optimized in such a way so that it looks better than those of your competitor's website. Ultimately your website starts ranking on search engine and is posted over the top list. SEO is a long process not easy but has simple concept. You can't understand SEO in a day but daily, a new thing you will learn.

SEO is a totally a different and vast topic. No one can completely understand the algorithms used behind it. The day someone identify he/she can rank any rubbish to rubbish website on #1 on Google. That's why the algorithms are kept as a top secret. On the basis of these algorithms Google or any other search engine show your website's ranking on the search results. These algorithms are not permanent, they keep on changing so that no one can understand what is the main concept behind it.

How to Rank my website on Google or other Search Engines?

To rank your website you have different options. They include:
  • Running Ads on Google, Facebook or any other ads platforms helps to gain traffic on your website. Advertising affects the most as it punches a image of your brand in other's mind. Many big companies run their advertisements over the internet. YouTube is one of the most growing ad platform now, as it offers visual ads. This is a costly method, and not everyone can afford it. Small startups or beginners may not be able to afford this for a long period to run advertisements.
  • Building a brand or making a page of your website over Social Media is also helping many website holders to gain traffic through it. People over the world spend about 2 hours daily on an average on social media. So you can think how it can impact for gaining traffic. Making pages of your websites on Facebook or Instagram can help to represent your brand even well. It will increase the authority of your website.
  • By organic method you can earn as much as traffic you want. Yes, this is a natural process. In this you just post articles and it automatically ranks on Google. This can only happen if, someone search for a particular keyword and your website has written no. of good and genuine posts on that particular keyword. Then Google will list your website on the best ranks. This organic search is the best thing because it is natural and organic. You don't have to spend a single money for the advertisements. And it also increase the authority of your website. For this you will have to perform SEO tips.

What is White Hat SEO and Black Hat SEO?

People perform SEO in two ways one is White Hat SEO which is a genuine form and the other is Black Hat SEO which is not genuine form. Both plays important role differently on ranking.
